Dr Liz Forbat

Liz Forbat is a research psychologist, specialising in physical health. She has conducted cancer and palliative care research focused on babies, children, working age adults and older adults for over 20 years. She has published over 80 peer review journal articles and several books, focused on improving care, treatment and relationships. She also has a private therapy clinic supporting people affected by serious ill-health.

Dr Kinga Goodwin

Kinga has an MSc in cross-cultural psychology from SWPS and a PhD in sociology and migration studies from the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies. She previously worked at UCL SSEES, Brunel University, University of Warwick and University of Birmingham. She specialises in qualitative research and has fieldwork experience from the UK, New Zealand/Aotearoa, Japan and Scotland. She is originally from Gdańsk, Poland.

Laura Bellussi

Laura is an experienced qualitative researcher with Master’s Degree in psychology. She has worked on a wide range of projects in the field of individual and family wellbeing, including ESRC and Home Office-funded projects, in collaboration with a variety of academic teams and third sector organisations. She currently works at the division of Social Work and Dementia and Ageing at the University of Stirling, and at the Faculty of Natural and Social Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire.

Timothy Sedgley

Tim has been a registered nurse since 1992 and is also a health visitor and community practitioner nurse prescriber. He is licensed to practice in both the UK and the US and has gained extensive clinical experience within general medicine and surgery, HIV/AIDS, accident and emergency, occupational health, and public health. From 2009-2016 he was the Director of Nursing and Community Wellness at the San Diego Blood Bank. Tim is currently working as a lecturer in the Faculty of Health, Education, and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University, where his teaching is primarily focused on evidence-based practice.Edit
